2018 - Adventure Watersports purchased two “Blokarts” for their fleet to allow for land sailing for times when it was not conducive for water sports.

The acquisition of these craft became the catalyst for a new name change. After a couple of months of research and asking our clients for feedback, the name Adventure Craft Hire was decided upon. This new name best reflected the existing fleet range and allows for other forms of recreational craft to be added to the fleet in the future.

Every great idea comes with its own challenges and Blokarts are no exception.
Two major obstacles arose in our attempt to hire the Blokarts on the oval. The first was Catheads. These nasty burrs easily puncture tyres.
The second was erratic winds. Direction was not the problem, but on the oval the winds frequently gust and then die to nothing making sailing unpleasant.

So sadly the whole idea was put on the back burner until a suitable solution was found.
