2016 - The legacy of Gavin & Karla Stait continues through the new owners, David & Nicky England who purchased the kayak side of Adventure Watersports in December 2016.

Under the management of David and Nicky, Adventure Watersports continued to focus on promoting the fun and adventures that can be had by kayaking the beautiful Macquarie River in Dubbo

David and Nicky hoped that they could encourage people to enjoy the sport of kayaking all year round and so a “permanent” site was set up at Ollie Robbins Oval to encourage the local community to take advantage of our river..

However, Dubbo can get very cold in the winter and the river becomes less inviting, so a new strategy needed to be found if the business was to survive.
